Bromley by Bow is ripe for regeneration. An atmospheric area comprised of under utilised light industrial units and boasts wonderful waterside settings alongside the historic Three Mills Studios.
In Bromley by Bow south, LTGDC has used its compulsory purchase powers to assemble land and ensure that a holistic sustainable development is brought forward. Tesco has received planning permission to construct a new district centre which will include a superstore, new homes, retail units, a library, two form entry primary school, hotel and riverside park.
To the north of the Tesco scheme, LTGDC is working with housing associations East Thames and Southern Housing to bring forward a planning application for a residential led scheme which will complement the redevelopment of the area.
A major face lift and improved access to Bromley by Bow Station are currently being considered which is in-line with improvements already planned for the A12 Subway and junction improvements within the Tesco proposal.
And at Sugar House Lane exciting plans are being developed by LandProp Holdings who have an ambitious vision for the area which will see new housing, retail and leisure.
